Not sure what to
write? Tell us why you love your
organization. Here are two samples
from previous years’ entries to help inspire you:
Ant Hill Mob Motorcycle Club
Returning to the Lakeshore
Holiday Parade, our next holiday scene
comes to us from the Ant
Hill Mob Motorcycle Club. It features a
gingerbread house and a
large Christmas present with a motorcycle
rising from it. The
Ant Hill Mob has over 100 members who have
raised and donated over
$40,000 this year to local charities. They
put on a bike show and dance
in the spring, a ride in summer and
this year had a vendor stand
at the Manitowoc County Fair. All of
the volunteers with the Ant
Hill Mob wish to thank everyone who
has supported them and they
hope to make this, there 25th year, the
most successful one yet.
Lakeshore Sea Kayakers
Next we have a new
participant in the Lakeshore Holiday Parade,
the Lakeshore Sea Kayakers.
They have their kayaks decorated for
the holidays. The
Lakeshore Sea Kayakers started in 2000. They
hold their classes at Two
Rivers High School in January, February
and March. During the
summer months they take trips around
Wisconsin and Lake Superior.
Have you noticed the kayaks filled with beautiful flowers at various locations
around Two Rivers? Phil Rohrer spearheaded that effort. What a neat image for
Two Rivers.
